Cadenced
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 26, 2026
Cadenced is a personal productivity and account management tool. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can request its deletion.
What we collect
- Google account data — your name and email address, obtained via Google OAuth when you sign in.
- Google Calendar data — calendar events you choose to view or link within the app.
- Google Gmail data — emails you view or act on within the app's email integration.
- Google Drive data — files you choose to view or open through an account's linked Drive folder; file contents are read only when you open a file and are not stored by the app.
- App data you create — accounts (names, contact details, revenue and engagement data), tasks, time entries, notes, bookmarks, shortcuts, and goals you enter into the app.
- Meeting data — when you connect Fathom, meeting transcripts, summaries, and notes are imported into the app and stored against the relevant account.
- Booking submissions — name and email address submitted by visitors who book a meeting through your public booking page.
- Waitlist sign-ups — email address and referral source submitted by visitors who request access through our public landing page.
- IP addresses — collected transiently to rate-limit public booking and sign-up forms and prevent abuse.
- Error diagnostics — anonymised error reports sent to Sentry when the app crashes, including request context but no personal content.
How we use it
All data is used solely to provide the functionality of Cadenced. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as required to operate the service. The third-party processors we rely on are:
- Google APIs — to power Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive features.
- Brevo — to send transactional email such as booking confirmations, login-security alerts, and engagement notifications.
- Fathom — to import meeting transcripts, summaries, and notes when you connect the integration.
- Cloudflare — to protect public booking and sign-up forms from abuse; the visitor's IP address is shared with Cloudflare's Turnstile anti-bot service to verify the request.
- Sentry — for anonymised error monitoring.
Data storage
Your data is stored in a SQLite database on a private server. Backups are stored in Google Cloud Storage and retained for 30 days. Google API tokens are stored encrypted.
Google API scopes
Cadenced requests access to Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive to power the email, calendar, and account-file features. This data is used only within the app and is never shared externally. Cadenced's use of Google API data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us. We will permanently delete your data within 30 days.
